Zwei Jahre nach einer ersten Finanzierungsrunde in H\u00f6he von 2 Millionen Euro, die die industrielle Umsetzung seiner L\u00f6sungen zur Abscheidung von CO\u2082 aus der Fermentation erm\u00f6glichte, gibt W Platform eine neue Finanzierungsrunde in H\u00f6he von \u00fcber 1 Million Euro bekannt. Diese Finanzierungsrunde wurde vom Fonds geleitet\u00a0VitiRev Innovation<\/a> und geleitet von den Teams von Demea Invest<\/a>, in Verbindung mit der Plattform von Crowdfunding TUDIGO<\/a>. Durch diese Ma\u00dfnahme wird das Unternehmen aus der Gironde \u2013 unterst\u00fctzt vom Technologiepark UNITEC \u2013 seine gesch\u00e4ftliche Entwicklung beschleunigen, sein Angebot auf neue Branchen ausweiten und seine Expansion in Europa vorbereiten k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eine \u00f6kologische Herausforderung in eine industrielle Ressource verwandeln<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vor dem Hintergrund, dass die Dekarbonisierung der Industrie und die Versorgungssicherheit bei CO\u2082 zu zentralen Herausforderungen werden, wird CO\u2082 mittlerweile eher als verwertbare Ressource denn als blo\u00dfer Industrieabfall betrachtet. Dennoch kaufen viele Industrieunternehmen weiterhin CO\u2082 fossilen Ursprungs, das \u00fcber weite Strecken importiert wird. W Platform bietet eine Alternative, die auf der lokalen Verwertung der bereits an den Produktionsstandorten vorhandenen Emissionen basiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mitbegr\u00fcndet von Matthieu Plant\u00e9, W-Plattform <\/a>entwickelt Technologien zur R\u00fcckgewinnung, Reinigung, Komprimierung und Hochdrucklagerung von CO\u2082 aus industriellen und biologischen Prozessen. W Platform tr\u00e4gt zur Bew\u00e4ltigung der wachsenden Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit der Dekarbonisierung und der Versorgungssicherheit bei biogenem CO\u2082 bei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die 2021 gegr\u00fcndete W Platform hat sich schnell als innovativer Akteur im Bereich der Verwertung von biogenem CO\u2082 etabliert. Nach der ersten Installation ihrer CO\u2082-Box im Ch\u00e2teau Latour im Jahr 2023 f\u00fchrte das Unternehmen 2024 eine erste Finanzierungsrunde in H\u00f6he von 2 Mio. \u20ac durch, wurde f\u00fcr seine Technologie mit dem Brassinov-Preis ausgezeichnet und dehnte seine Gesch\u00e4ftst\u00e4tigkeit auf den Brauereimarkt aus. Im Jahr 2025 erhielt das Unternehmen das Patent f\u00fcr seine CO\u2082-Box und \u00fcberschritt die Marke von 20 Kunden, was den rasanten Aufstieg seiner Entwicklung verdeutlicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Unternehmen ist heute in mehreren Branchen t\u00e4tig: Weinbau, Brauerei, Biogasanlagen und Industrie<\/strong>. Mit seinen Anlagen l\u00e4sst sich CO\u2082 direkt an der Quelle auffangen, um es entweder direkt in industriellen Prozessen wiederzuverwenden oder in Produkte mit h\u00f6herer Wertsch\u00f6pfung umzuwandeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laut W Platform lassen sich mit den installierten Anlagen je nach Anwendungsbereich j\u00e4hrlich einige Dutzend bis mehrere Tausend Tonnen CO\u2082 recyceln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eine bereits bew\u00e4hrte Traktion im gewerblichen Einsatz<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das Unternehmen kann heute auf mehr als zwanzig Kundenreferenzen im Weinsektor verweisen, darunter Champagne Drappier,<\/a> Ch\u00e2teau Latour<\/a>, Ch\u00e2teau Grand Puy Lacoste,<\/a> aber auch im Brauereibereich: Brasserie Azimut<\/a>, Brasserie Sainte Colombe<\/a>, Brasserie La Seillonne<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nachdem sich W Platform zun\u00e4chst auf den Weinsektor konzentriert hatte, weitet das Unternehmen seinen T\u00e4tigkeitsbereich nun schrittweise auf andere Branchen aus, die mit Herausforderungen in Bezug auf Versorgung, Kosten und CO\u2082-Bilanz konfrontiert sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Jahr 2026 wurde mit Unterst\u00fctzung der Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine eine speziell auf Biogasanlagen zugeschnittene L\u00f6sung entwickelt, um die Verwertung des von den Biogasanlagen ausgesto\u00dfenen CO\u2082 zu erm\u00f6glichen. Parallel dazu f\u00fchrt das Unternehmen seine T\u00e4tigkeit als Ingenieurb\u00fcro fort, um KMU oder Start-ups bei der Entwicklung umweltvertr\u00e4glicher Verfahren zu unterst\u00fctzen und die Umsetzung einer Kreislaufwirtschaft zu f\u00f6rdern. So arbeitete es im Jahr 2026 im Auftrag des Start-ups EVERDYE<\/a>, das sich auf CO\u2082-arme Textilf\u00e4rbeverfahren spezialisiert hat, die auf recycelbaren und wiederverwendbaren Farbstoffen basieren. Diese Diversifizierung ist mittlerweile zu einem Wachstumsmotor f\u00fcr das Unternehmen geworden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Skalierung finanzieren<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Die Kapitalbeschaffung, an der sowohl langj\u00e4hrige Investoren als auch neue Aktion\u00e4re beteiligt sind, soll die Expansion des Unternehmens unterst\u00fctzen.
Das eingeworbene Kapital wird insbesondere dazu dienen, die Vertriebsteams zu verst\u00e4rken, das Wachstum der Aktivit\u00e4ten in Frankreich und Europa zu f\u00f6rdern und die Einf\u00fchrung neuer Angebote f\u00fcr die M\u00e4rkte der Methanisierung und der Industrie zu beschleunigen.\u00a0Das Unternehmen, das derzeit aus 8 Mitarbeitern besteht, strebt an, seine Mitarbeiterzahl innerhalb von drei Jahren zu verdoppeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vor dem Hintergrund versch\u00e4rfter Klimavorschriften und eines allm\u00e4hlichen Anstiegs der CO\u2082-Kosten, gepr\u00e4gt durch das Auftreten von Versorgungsengp\u00e4ssen, erweist sich die Verwertung von biogenem CO\u2082 als einer der Hebel, die es CO\u2082-Verbrauchern erm\u00f6glichen, gleichzeitig ihre Emissionen und ihre Betriebskosten zu senken. W Platform will sich in dieser langfristigen Entwicklung positionieren und strebt an, einer der f\u00fchrenden europ\u00e4ischen Akteure in der Kreislaufwirtschaft f\u00fcr Kohlenstoff zu werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abWir beobachten einen tiefgreifenden Wandel in den Erwartungen der Winzer und Brauer. CO\u2082 wird nicht mehr nur als Emission betrachtet, die reduziert werden muss, sondern auch als Ressource, die in ihren internen Prozessen verwertet werden kann, um bei der Versorgung mit Inertgasen \u2013 die in ihrem Produktionskreislauf unverzichtbar sind \u2013 v\u00f6llig autark zu sein. Im Weinbau erm\u00f6glicht CO\u2082 in Form von Trockeneis den Schutz der Weinlese, aber auch in Form von Schnee oder Gas die Inertisierung der Pressen, Tanks zu inertisieren und den Weinumschlag zu erleichtern, wodurch jegliche Oxidation vermieden wird, die die Qualit\u00e4t des Weins beeintr\u00e4chtigen w\u00fcrde. Vor dem Hintergrund der globalen Erw\u00e4rmung wird dieses G\u00e4rungs-CO\u2082 zu einer unverzichtbaren Ressource, um die Qualit\u00e4t der Weine langfristig zu sichern. In der Brauindustrie ist CO\u2082 einer der wichtigsten Rohstoffe. Mit unseren Systemen erm\u00f6glichen wir es den Brauern, unabh\u00e4ngig zu sein und nicht unter Preiserh\u00f6hungen und m\u00f6glichen Lieferproblemen zu leiden. Mit den L\u00f6sungen CO\u2082 BOX und Micro CO\u2082 Box k\u00f6nnen wir ihnen eine Amortisationszeit zwischen 3 und 5 Jahren bieten und ihnen gleichzeitig erm\u00f6glichen, ihren CO\u2082-Fu\u00dfabdruck zu verringern.
