A company born from observations on the ground
While regulations provide for CO₂ capture as close to the source as possible when production techniques allow, an increasing number of wine estates are setting up capture networks to improve working conditions and limit the risks associated with high CO₂ concentrations in cellars. National Assembly
At W Platform, we know that captured CO₂ can also be recovered and reused rather than simply released into the atmosphere. This observation is at the heart of our expertise: offering properties solutions that address their security challenges while enabling them to transform this CO₂ into a valuable resource.
Created in 2021, W Platform was born out of the desire to transform a gas considered waste into a reusable resource directly at production sites.
Since then, the company has been developing solutions for capturing, purifying, compressing, storing, and utilizing CO₂ to build a true circular carbon economy.
Our vision
For a long time, CO₂ was considered a simple industrial byproduct.
We advocate a different approach. We believe that CO₂ emissions constitute a local resource that can be captured, treated, and then reused directly at production sites.
This approach allows those who already trust us to reduce their emissions, gain autonomy, and limit their dependence on fossil-derived CO₂. Our ambition is to contribute to the development of a true circular CO₂ economy.

The co-founder
President: Matthieu Planté
A business school graduate, Matthieu Planté has nearly 20 years of experience in the development and marketing of innovative solutions, both in France and internationally.
His career has notably led him to manage for 6 years Clairéo, a company specializing in air injection technologies for the wine industry, particularly for wastewater treatment and winemaking.
Building on this experience, he co-founded W Platform with the goal of developing innovative solutions to capture, utilize, and reuse CO₂ from fermentation processes.
