Capture and recovery
of CO2 fermentative : Château Latour
Description :
Prestigious wine estate located in Pauillac, in the Médoc region, renowned for its elegant red wines.
Customer objective:
capture CO2 fermenter, compress it, and then liquefy it to reuse it as gas for inerting or dry ice. But also to guarantee personnel safety by respecting CO2 concentration limits in the wine cellar.
Solution deployed:
- A collection network to recover this CO2 for internal use.
- a CO2 Box to allow for the analysis of CO2 and its processing to send it to the compressor.
- a CO2 distribution network to transport CO2 from the compressor to the storage cylinder rack and then to a gun or pelletizer to produce dry ice or dry ice pellets.
- 10L bottles that can be refilled by operators to reuse CO2 during the grape harvest for blanketing tanks and protecting wine from oxidation.
- Installation of wireless ambient CO2 sensors with control application, automatic alerts (SMS, email), CO2 threshold configuration, integration with air extraction systems.

Capture and recovery
of CO2 fermentative : Champagne Drappier House
Description :
Based in Urville, annual production of 15,000 hectoliters of champagne per year.
Customer objective:
Installation of a collection network on 18 new tanks (118 to 138 HL) following the extension of the existing winery, to ensure the safety of its staff but also within an environmental logic.
Solution deployed:
- a collection network across three spans to recover this CO2 for internal use.
- a CO2 Box to allow for the analysis of CO2 and its treatment in order to send it to the thermal room where the compressor is located.
- A CO2 distribution network to transport CO2 from the compressor to 4 50L storage bottles connected in series.
- 10L bottles that can be refilled by operators to reuse CO2 during the grape harvest for blanketing tanks and protecting wine from oxidation.
